Joe Ealy
Played basketball for Helen Cox High School, then we headed off to prep school in Indiana before finishing up at Los Angeles Community College! It’s always been my deep passion to give back to youth sports, and when I saw the lack of interest the world had for girls’ basketball, it made me realize exactly where I needed to be. My goal is to continue to grow girls’ basketball, one summer at a time, empowering young athletes to rise and shine!
Nekia Jones
A former collegiate player and coach who believes her purpose is teaching. She’s a mentor, motivator, and advocate for young women chasing their dreams. Her passion for basketball is matched only by her commitment to shaping confident, disciplined, and driven leaders. After her collegiate career she has dedicated her career to give guidance to the youth by empowering her players to believe in themselves, work hard, and carry the lessons from the court into every part of life. Her mission is simple to inspire growth, greatness, and purpose.
Derrell Joubert
He was a college basketball player after a decorated career at Northwest High School. After his playing career, he has gotten into coaching. Joubert has an extensive background in AAU coaching. Youth basketball numbers on the girls side have been lacking in the Central Lafourche area and Joubert is working and the numbers have boosted, get more players playing younger which will have benefits to the high school program.
